Memory File

Memories of two decades, are in my file
Pains and sorrows, tops in that lines

Lightening brightness, sparkled for a while
Followed by the darkness, of miles and miles

All the go friendships, came in style
Destiny shattered them, without the mail

Daffodils and tulips bloomed around me, as a trail
And enchanted me in to the abyss, exile

Loved ones gave shoulder for me, to sail
Time and fate, made that relations fragile

Hundreds of joys, stirred my mind to smile
But thousands of pains, followed that as a tail

Doors closed in all directions, to restrict me in jail
Unexpected doors, came for my rescue without fail

I decided to gear up my life, with smile
Remembering the fact, up and downs were-
etched in our fact files

Great piece of poetry! I am glad you chose to make the best of it. We all have our ups and downs, but after every down comes an up. After prison, freedom. ( I can affirm that) After sunset, sunrise. That's my next post. Your blog is great!

Have you ever been to the states, or do you have family here?

Yes, dusting off our memories helps us to see the right perspective and give us each hope to smile in spite of it all.
