My Enemy

My enemy is not in my sight

But every where, he makes me tight

He disturbs, my confidence
with the instincts, of coherence

He throws options, as his weapons
Which pauses even, my defence actions

He proposes, to proceed my walk
And spreads the carpet of doubts, in my path

He mutes my mouth, in front of the group
To restrict me under, one roof

He imposes, conflict in my mind
With out the solutions, to find

Never he harms, physically
But he hurts, mentally

This battle commenced, since my birth
Seems to be persist, until my death

As a warrior, i can fight
If he did not find, my heart it as his seat

No other tactics of battle, is in my hand
Rather than, pleading to God

Oh God! Teach me the way, to deal -
my enemy " who is is my own soul...

Really like your poetry.
Your heart is stronger than the "enemy's" intention!

Thanks-

I love your poetry. Not sure how you found me. But I am glad. I'm going to show your poems to my husband. He will love them.

Whoa!!! Truly identifiable. The battle within us all is to defeat ourselves... we are often our own worst enemies. Thank you for this one.

Peace and blessings...
