Winner of Asianet Idea star singer season4

The much waited popular Malayalam reality TV show Asia net Idea star singer season 4’s winner was announced on August 1, 2010 in a grant finale function held in Trivandrum. Winner is been selected on the basis of votes through sms from viewers and through the marks yielded by the three regular panel of judges,six time national award winning popular singer Mrs.Chitra ,Mr.M.G.Sreekumar,Mr.Sharath and a special judge India’s most popular singer of all times six time national award winner Padma Sri S.P.Balasubramanian.

Out of five finalists two of them Vijaya Shankar and Anju Joseph were eliminated on the basis of their marks and votes. From the final three contestants Joby, Preethi Warrier, and Sreenath, Joby was selected as the first prize winner of Asianet Idea star singer season 4 followed by Sreenath and Preethi Warrier. He was provided with a luxurious villa of 1 crore rupees sponsored by Travancore builders and a trophy. Second prize winner Sreenath was awarded with a gold worth 10 lakhs Indian rupees. Third prize winner was provided with 5 lakhs Indian rupees and a trophy. First prize winner Joby scored 85.89 with huge number of votes 5, 28,878 votes followed by Sreenath with 81.05 marks with 1, 29.521 votes. The winner was announced by the popular heroine Kaviya Madhavan.
