From the time of it establishment, St Mary’s
Polyclinic was actively involved in training health personal and community
members who provided health services to rural
population. Training of traditional birth attendant and C.B.D. several training
programmes were conducted in association with SIFPSA.
It was felt that there is acute shortage of health personals which hinders
medical and health services in rural as well as urban
community.
In order
to meet these demands and also to provide employment avenues to young girls and
boys, St Mary’ Institute of Paramedical Sciences was started in 2007. Since
