Get Your Pride

Set a limit
within you
to reduce your troubles
without new

Mingle with all
but select the few
for your love to give
without due

Pour the love-but
give not the clue
about your faults
without key

B'cos later they will make
you as the gum to chew
and drive your moves
without anyone to sue

So set a limit
within you
to get your pride
as the winter dew...

I always find that a little humor makes it all worth while, proud to be who I am and what I have accomplished through the years, the learning and yearning never ends. Very nice insight.
